Message From CEO

It is a privilege to be entrusted with the responsibility as CEO of SJVN Arun-3 Power Development Company (SAPDC), an organization at the forefront of one of Nepal’s most transformative initiatives—the Arun-3 Hydro-Electric Project (900 MW).

The project stands as a landmark venture in Nepal’s hydropower sector, reflecting a shared vision of sustainable energy development, regional cooperation, and long-term economic growth. With its significant capacity and strategic importance, it is poised to contribute substantially to Nepal’s energy security while fostering inclusive socio-economic development in the region. As Nelson Mandela wisely said, “It always seems impossible until it’s done,” and Arun-3 HEP (900 MW) is a testament to turning vision into reality through perseverance and collective effort.

Under the guidance and able leadership of our Chairman and Directors on Board, at SAPDC, we remain steadfast in our commitment to execute and commission the Arun-3 HEP (900 MW) with the highest standards of engineering excellence, environmental responsibility, and stakeholder engagement. We firmly believe in the words of Walt Disney, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing,” and our team exemplifies this spirit through tireless dedication in challenging terrains and demanding conditions.

The strength of this project lies in the trust, cooperation, and continued support of our stakeholders, as well as the unwavering commitment of our employees. I would like to acknowledge the SAPDC team whose professionalism, resilience, and determination are driving this project forward. As Vince Lombardi said, “Individual commitment to a group effort—that is what makes a team work,” and this perfectly reflects the ethos of our organization.

As we move forward, our focus will remain on the timely commissioning of the project, transparent communication, and sustainable practices. We will continue to strengthen collaboration, address concerns proactively, and ensure that the benefits of this project are shared widely and equitably. In the spirit of excellence, we are guided by the thought of Aristotle: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

Together, let us continue to build a future powered by clean energy, mutual trust, and shared prosperity. With collective resolve and sustained effort, We are confident that Arun-3 HEP (900 MW) will stand as a shining example of what can be achieved when vision, commitment, and teamwork come together.
